Arnab Banerjee is the managing attorney of Banner Law Group with more than 18 years experience litigating employment law cases. Arnab has successfully obtained more than $50 million for employees, providing them with the kind of representation that is often only available at big law firms.
Arnab began his legal career at Latham & Watkins, LLP — one of the largest law firms in the world. There he represented employers and learned how companies think when they are being sued. Arnab went on to represent companies and individuals in discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour cases.
Arnab realized that his true calling was to represent employees, and began working at Capstone Law, one of California’s largest plaintiffs’ employment law firms. There he led one of the firm’s litigation teams where he specialized in complex employment cases, including class actions and cases under the Private Attorneys General Act. Arnab successfully certified and resolved numerous class action cases and obtained millions in recovery for employees and consumers.
Arnab went on to form Banner Law Group to provide the big-firm-quality representation he was trained with, on a more personal level to individual clients. Arnab is also an experienced trial attorney who recently secured a significant jury verdict in a retaliation case in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Arnab graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was an editor on the Interdisciplinary Law Journal. During law school he interned for the Department of Homeland Security. He received his undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Arnab is an active member of the California Employment Lawyers Association. He is a frequent speaker legal education panels on employment law issues, and was a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California on employment law. Arnab was selected as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2016 and 2017, and was selected as a Super Lawyer each year from 2020 thorough 2026. Arnab also serves as a mediator, mediating a wide range of employment law cases.
